At this time, we do not remove seats or carpeting for the smoke odor removal process. Although it would help depending on the condition and severity, if it gets to the point where it’s been heavily smoked in the vehicle for many years, the proper steps would be to replace some of the fabric material.
There’s many factors to consider that will dictate how much of the odor we can remove. For instance, if you purchased a new-to-you vehicle from the dealership and it has a smoke smell to it, since you don’t know the history of the vehicle, we don’t know how long or how much it’s been smoked in.
Some things might have to be replaced. Definitely, we can greatly reduce smoke odor in your vehicle.
For odor removal, we use very specific products and equipment to neutralize, reduce, and eliminate smoke odor. This is not just using a generic degreaser or steam cleaner to clean the fabric surfaces. Each step we perform has a purpose to achieve our end goal.
Due to the nature of stains and the material it’s on, some will come off better than others. We have extensive knowledge, experience, and use premium tools, products, and machines, but even with all that, if a stain has been there long enough, it can only be cleaned so much.
