The Best Car Smoke Odor Removal Services In Houston

Only the proper methods used to reduce and eliminate the odor
Smoke odors are one of the more difficult odors to remove from your interior. The two biggest factors to how much we can remove will come down to 1) how long it’s been smoked in and 2) how much it was smoked in.
The longer (and more intense) smoking that’s taken place in the interior, the harder and longer it will take to reduce the odor to a satisfactory level. Unfortunately if it’s a severe condition of years of smoking, and a lot of smoking at that, our chances of removing 100% are extremely low.
At that point, we can definitely reduce and decrease the odor, but to get rid of the smoke odor entirely, it would require you to replace some of the fabric material like the headliner, carpeting, floor mats, etc…

Intensive Interior Cleaning and Odor Removal Process

For any level of smoke odor removal, it will not be a quick 3-hour job. We require the vehicle to be dropped off at our shop location for a minimum of two days. It’s the only way we have enough time to do all the proper steps and ensure the best quality outcome.
The goal of the service is to not mask the smoke smell with a fragrance or perfume. It’s to remove and eliminate the layer of nicotine that’s left behind from smoking. This is the only way to ensure long term results. You don’t want to have the car smelling okay for three days only for the smoke odor to come back.
There’s not many places in Houston that specialize in proper smoke odor removal services. Simply shampooing or steaming the interior is not enough depending on the severity of the odor.
If you just have a lingering odor because the interior hasn’t been cleaned in a while, perhaps our Full Interior Cleaning service is a better fit for your needs.

Smoke Odor Removal FAQs

Do you remove the seats and carpeting?

At this time, we do not remove seats or carpeting for the smoke odor removal process. Although it would help depending on the condition and severity, if it gets to the point where it’s been heavily smoked in the vehicle for many years, the proper steps would be to replace some of the fabric material.

Can you guarantee the odor will be removed?

There’s many factors to consider that will dictate how much of the odor we can remove. For instance, if you purchased a new-to-you vehicle from the dealership and it has a smoke smell to it, since you don’t know the history of the vehicle, we don’t know how long or how much it’s been smoked in.

Some things might have to be replaced. Definitely, we can greatly reduce smoke odor in your vehicle.

Can you do this at my home or office location?

We do offer mobile detailing services, but due to the intensiveness of the cleaning, we no longer provide this service as a mobile job. The heat, rain, humidity, and debris that gets in the way while being outdoors makes it extremely difficult to do a proper job. On top of that, the job can take 10+ hours in total to complete over two days. For the best results, we require you to drop off your vehicle at our shop for at least two days.

What products do you use?

For odor removal, we use very specific products and equipment to neutralize, reduce, and eliminate smoke odor. This is not just using a generic degreaser or steam cleaner to clean the fabric surfaces. Each step we perform has a purpose to achieve our end goal.

Will I smell any chemicals once the service is complete?

You will not! This is one of the reasons why we require you to drop off the vehicle at our shop. The only way you won’t smell any of the cleaning process is if we give it enough time to air out. We expedite that process by placing multiple air-movers across the interior.

Can you remove every stain?

Due to the nature of stains and the material it’s on, some will come off better than others. We have extensive knowledge, experience, and use premium tools, products, and machines, but even with all that, if a stain has been there long enough, it can only be cleaned so much.
