Give your Tesla a unique look by changing the color with vinyl wrap
Vinyl wrapping is the best way to customize your Tesla without the permanent commitment or massive expense of a custom paint job.
Whether you’ve just taken delivery of a factory-fresh Model 3 or you want to give your Model Y a look that stands out in the sea of white and grey on Houston roads, a professional wrap is the solution.
Tesla’s factory paint options are notoriously limited. By wrapping your vehicle, you dramatically change its appearance while preserving the original finish underneath.
If you ever decide to sell or simply want a new look, the wrap peels off cleanly, revealing the pristine OEM paint.
Looking for more protection? If your main goal is to shield your Tesla from Houston’s highway debris and rock chips, Paint Protection Film (PPF) might be the better option for you. We also offer Ceramic Coating for vinyl film to add extra depth and make your maintenance washes easier.
With hundreds of color options, you can turn your Model 3 into a stealthy, blacked out vehicle. You can turn the plain white color and go with a satin purple. The possibilities are endless. But it’s not just about the looks, there are other benefits to vinyl wrapping:
✅ Preserve Resale Value: Unlike a custom paint job, which can hurt your resale value, a wrap protects the factory paint. When it’s time to upgrade to the next Tesla model, you can remove the wrap to reveal a flawless finish.
✅ The “Cybertruck Cure”: The Cybertruck’s stainless steel exterior is iconic but prone to fingerprints and stubborn water spots. A wrap not only adds color but makes the Cybertruck significantly easier to clean and maintain.
✅ Total Customization: From a “Chrome Delete” on older Tesla models to a full color overhaul, you have total creative control. You can even do partial wraps—like a gloss black roof on a Model 3 or a carbon fiber hood.
✅ Protection Against Debris: Now, a vinyl wrap is not as thick as paint protection film (PPF). However, vinyl wrap is still a layer of film that can protect against light debris from scratching the paint.
Wrapping a Tesla is a very skilled job that requires a steady hand and extreme patience. Because Teslas have unique sensors, cameras (Autopilot/FSD), and flush door handles, the installation must be surgical. Here’s a general process of the installation:
Surface Prep: We start with a Premium Wash and decontamination. If your Tesla has existing film or minor surface defects, we first remedy those before moving on.
Disassembly (where needed): To provide a “seamless” look, we carefully remove components like door handles, side repeaters (cameras), and trim. This allows us to tuck the vinyl deep into the edges so no original color peeks through.
The Install: Our technicians treat every panel with care, ensuring there are no bubbles, wrinkles, or over-stretched film. We pay special attention to the complex curves of the Model Y and the massive, flat planes of the Cybertruck.
Final Inspection: Once the film is set, we reassemble all components, test your cameras/sensors to ensure 100% functionality, and perform a final quality check before delivery.
The Cybertruck is the most unique vehicle on the road today. Its hard-edged, stainless steel body and massive glass canopy make it a head-turner in Houston—but its “raw” look isn’t for everyone.
Because the Cybertruck is stainless steel versus a traditional clear coat, it’s highly susceptible to environmental contaminants and fingerprints. Wrapping your Cybertruck in a Satin Black, Military Green, or even a Stealth Grey completely changes the vibe of the truck while providing a barrier against the elements.
A full Cybertruck wrap typically takes about two to three days. Given its flat panels, it is the perfect canvas for high-quality vinyl, resulting in a look that feels factory-made but looks one-of-a-kind.
What’s better for your Tesla; a vinyl wrap or PPF? This is a common question among the Tesla community. Here’s a breakdown:
Vinyl Wrap is primarily designed for aesthetics. It’s a thin film (approx. 3-4 mils) available in endless colors and textures. While it offers minor protection against light scratches, its primary purpose is style. It’s perfect for the owner who wants their Tesla to look different from everyone else’s at the Supercharger.
Paint Protection Film (PPF or Clear Bra) is designed for ultimate protection. This is a much thicker (around 7 to 9 mils), self-healing polyurethane film. It’s the gold standard for stopping rock chips, road debris, and other incidents from damaging your vehicle’s paint. If your primary goal is to protect your vehicle, PPF is the way to go.
We now offer colored PPF as well. This gives you the best of both worlds. You get the impact protection of PPF with the color-changing capabilities of vinyl. It’s the ultimate “no-compromise” solution for Tesla owners.

How long will your Tesla wrap last?
We recommend removing or replacing your wrap around the 3 to 5-year mark to ensure the adhesive remains easy to remove without any risk to the underlying paint. Longevity is heavily influenced by sun exposure, how you store the vehicle, and maintenance.
Will the wrap interfere with my Autopilot or FSD cameras?
It will not! We ensure that all cameras and ultrasonic sensors (if equipped) are either carefully trimmed around or cleared so that your Tesla’s tech works perfectly.
Can I wash my wrapped Tesla?
Yes, but we recommend hand washing. Avoid automatic brush washes, as they can scratch the vinyl film or lift the edges due to the aggressive bristles that are used.
How long does a full wrap take?
A full color change for a Model 3 or Model Y typically takes 2 to 4 days. A Cybertruck can often be completed in 2 to 3 days due to its unique geometry.
What brand of films do you use?
There are dozens of brands on the market that carry dozens and dozens of colors and textures. The options are almost endless. Some of the brands we’ve worked with are 3M, Avery Dennison, KPMF, Cheetah, TinyBot, and more!
